XR: Certified innovation
We drive XR innovation with our own technological foundations and with external validation of our R&D work. IMMERXTION holds official EQA certification as an R&D project, reinforcing that our innovation is not conceptual: it is structured, developed, certified, and turned into reality. Through IMMERXTION, we work on a modular XR ecosystem aimed at next-generation immersive experiences. We integrate our own custom AI agent, markerless motion capture, procedural generation of 3D environments, and multimodal artificial intelligence capable of interpreting voice, gestures, emotions, and telemetry in real time. This line of innovation allows us to develop XR solutions that are more adaptive, more scalable, and transferable across different sectors. We innovate in tracking precision, natural interaction, experience personalisation, and performance on lightweight devices such as smart glasses and HUDs, with a technological foundation designed to evolve and be applied in real-world projects.
The Gate
The Gate marks the beginning of a pioneering XR trajectory that started in 2013, when the new generation of virtual reality was taking its first steps with the arrival of the first modern headsets. Since then, we have maintained a continuous line of development and innovation in immersive technologies, evolving from those early VR environments to current AR projects, including developments for devices that have not yet been publicly announced. The Gate was a multipurpose platform designed specifically for virtual reality, conceived as a central environment for accessing services, applications, and experiences within an immersive 3D space. Its approach was clearly systemic: it was not intended to be an isolated demo, but to establish an operating logic in VR closer to that of a desktop or an interaction node within the system. That starting point reflects our way of working: early vision, technical capability, and more than a decade of continuous innovation in XR.
AI: efficiency and scalability
We develop AI tools designed to grow with the product in a controlled and efficient way. Our AI model comparison tool makes it possible to estimate consumption, compare models, and anticipate economic impact before integrating a solution into the product. In a real study, it identified the most efficient option, with an estimated saving of between 54% and 61% of the total token consumption cost. We also develop our own AI agent on a modular, reusable architecture designed to evolve according to the needs of each project. This allows us to incorporate or expand capabilities without rebuilding the entire system, flexibly integrating functionalities such as personalised memory, user context, natural dialogue interruptions, intuitive voice commands, or new interaction modules adapted to each solution.
AI: applicability and user experience
We develop AI systems with real-world application across different areas and products. Our focus is on cross-functional tools that improve interaction and the performance of each solution. We apply this approach to conversational systems, contextual memory, voice commands, data interpretation, and real-time feedback. We also develop IMU systems capable of capturing and analysing movement through inertial sensors, combining accelerometer and gyroscope data with machine learning models to improve detection accuracy and system response. Our experience in developing these tools allows us to build solutions that are more natural, more context-aware, and more transferable across projects in different sectors.
